Gods faithfulness….Jesus is so Good

Healing:

— When my son was a year old, he was diagnosed with severe fish and seafood allergies. If we did not take the right precautions, carry an EpiPen, avoid any food-to-food contact it could have been fatal to my son. The doctor at the time said he had a one in three million plus chance of outgrowing it and that we should alter our life around it. Luckily, we were planted in a Faith filled church with balanced teaching. We knew that this was not God’s will for our son to be at risk nor deprived of something. We did the cautionary things we were instructed to do but we stood on the word of God for his healing. We had a year until our sons next follow-up, so we continued in the word knowing it would turn. One day while thanking God for my sons healing that was going to manifest, the Lord reminded me of Matthew 14. Jesus fed the multitude with loaves and fish. He said, “If your son was there, what would Jesus' have done?” I answered, “He’d have either healed him or given him another option, but then everyone else would want options.” I knew at that moment it had turned because the revelation of my son’s healing was done. We still carried on but with assurance we knew the outcome. That time had come to retest and to the amazement of the doctor, my son was clear of any and all of this allergies. At ten years old, he continues to enjoy what the devil tried to steal.

Salvation:

— I had left home one day from work feeling ill. Thinking it was just the flu I continued to get weaker and lose my appetite. I was able to force myself up and around when I needed to, but it took everything I had to do so. After about six days, my fiancé at the time had decided to leave for the afternoon and asked if I’d be alright by myself. I agreed saying I was just going to rest. I had rested for a little bit that afternoon but eventually had to get up to go to the restroom. After I had slowly made my way from the bathroom to the hallway, I could feel a strong urge to just sleep, to close my eyes. At that moment, from where I heard or knew I didn’t know but I heard a voice say, “If you go to sleep, you will not wake up.” Debating on whether to yield to what I heard, I decided to make it to my phone to call 911. I knew something wasn’t right. As I was about to dial, my fiancé came through the door. I asked her why she was back so early, and she said like she needed to check on me. I told her to take me to the hospital and she did.

Once I got there, they admitted me and began to check my temperature. The first one the nurse said, “let me reset it, it’s reading wrong.” She tested it again and said she need to get a different thermometer. Upon the third time she tested it, she said “There’s no way, how in God’s name are you standing.” They admitted me in with a 106.4 fever and later discovered I had a softball size bacterial pneumonia in my lungs. Many people said it was extraordinary I was even alive because the brain begins to shut down at 105, but i was still coherent and as brash and arrogant as I had always been. I would tell people, “Even death can’t kill me.”

Fast forward a year later, I had come to realize I needed Jesus. I needed a savior. As i was worshipping one day He spoke to me in my spirit and said “I was that voice you heard that day and I am so thankful you listened.” He said, “If you had gone to sleep, you would not been with me in Heaven forever.”

Praise God for His mercy and love!
